Max’s Allegheny Cuisine Impeached! PTC Members To Testify at February Trial
On Tuesday, February 25, the Porsche Touring Crew will gather at Max’s Allegheny Tavern to kick off their 2020 season, and answer some vital Constitutional questions. Among them:
- Can bratwurst colluding with spätzle on the same plate be considered a “quid pro quo?”
- Can Max’s head cook be subpoenaed as a material witness … and has he been “in the loop?”
- Is there a “Whistleblower Special” that combines potato pancakes, strudel and German beer?
Of course, no matter what their political leanings, regular PTCr’s have already reached a verdict: A trip to Max’s is a good way to brighten-up the month and will undoubtedly offer excellent German food, combined with great friends and good conversation! The historic Northside restaurant, which also offers a spattering of diet-conscious choices, is a popular repeat destination from one year ago.
PTC’ers will gather at Max’s, 537 Suismon St. (https://maxsalleghenytavern.com/), between 11:00 and 11:30, and be seated in one of the Tavern’s private rooms at 12:00 Noon. As usual, all ARPCA members and their guests are welcome to attend. Other than their own meals, there is no cost to attendees. To help us determine reservation numbers, PLEASE sign up by accessing motorsport.reg through the main ARPCA site.
An added note: The PTC is currently selecting sites and attractions for lunches during the driving season. Tom Mueller (email@example.com) and Wayne Desbrow (firstname.lastname@example.org) are always interested in your favorite restaurants, and new destination ideas — no matter how far East, West, North or South! Mark your calendars for another PTC favorite for March 24 at the Breakneck Tavern in Mars, PA., and for an early May 3-day track excursion to Watkins Glen.
We hope to hear from you soon!
