Nelsons Ledges, new DE for 2012
We just finished our first DE of the season at WGI. In general, everyone had a fantastic time! It is now time to look forward to our next event which is Nelson Ledges on June 16-17. We are running at Nelsons Ledges with other Zone 4 regions – the Northern Ohio & Mid-Ohio.
Nelson Ledges is a two-mile, seven turn road course, with a rich history of sports car and motorcycle road racing. It is a user-friendly facility that is well suited to a variety of racing and motor sports related activities.
Porsche of Beachwood is also stepping up once again to be the title sponsor of the event, and because last year’s cookout went over so well, they are also sponsoring the cookout for this year’s event. That means more good food and of course a couple more kegs of Great Lakes beer (we went through 2 kegs last year!) Stayed tuned for more details.
Registration is through www.clubregistration.net at the following link: http://www.clubregistration.net/index.cfm?direct=3979&pca
With the three Regions teaming up to put on the event, there is a very good chance that it will sell out so don’t miss out! Also, for all of you 924/944/968/928 drivers, we will be hosting the 944Fest once again. It will be on Friday, June 15th and provide a bunch of track time along with usual other festivities.
Feel free to contact any of the event chairs (listed below) if you have any questions about the event or registration.
Skip Wolfe – NORPCA
Frank Todaro – MORPCA
Dale Rabeneck – ARPCA
