2012 PVGP Recap

Well, another year, another great event.

Pitt Race Weekend

Racing on July 14th and 15th at Pitt Race were great. Porsche had a lot to cheer for. The Randy Beck, driving the Beck 904 was clearly the fastest car on track. Below shows just how dominate Porsche was at this year’s event.

Scheneley Park Weekend

The main weekend in Scheneley Park is always a focus event for ARPCA. This year we had over 120 cars register and we served lunches to almost 300 people. Rob and Missy Hoffman were running the Goodie Store and sold out of the great looking event shirts on Saturday. Judy Seiler was manning the P3 sales and we had a large number of P3 tee shirts sold to raise money for our P3 project (Porsche Project for Patriots) which raises money for the troops.

Again this year Louise Jeremiah coordinated all the details to make the event special while remaining low-key. Take a look through the pictures in the galleries below to see what happened (or what you missed if you were not able to attend.)

We once again had a great time with the BMW club who managed the catered lunch and the German car coral at the top of the hill above turn 12. This was a very good vantage point to see the races. We were also able to cheer on a number of our ARPCA members including Randy Evens run his 1982 Porsche 911 and Dottie Bechtol running her 914-6.
