Dear {first-name} {last-name},

The shadows are growing longer much earlier in the evening but we’re still having tons of fun!  Join your fellow ARPCA-ers at these great upcoming events – a few new ones just added!!!

Thursday September 15th – 7:00PM – Monthly Business Meeting

Never been to an ARPCA business meeting?  This is the perfect chance;  plus see and hear AMAZING Home Theatre set-ups by ARPCA Member, Resident Racer and Goosebumps Owner, Randy Evans (his Gulf livery #51 1969 911R at right will likely be on display too!).

Saturday September 17th – ARPCA Car Control Clinic – 11th Annual

This is a perfect opportunity to learn more about you and your car in a controlled environment.  Using the Vehicle Dynamic Area (VDA- six plus acres of pavement) we will provide an exhilarating educational experience!  ARPCA’s Car Control Clinic is hands-on, in-car training combined with classroom discussion of vehicle and human dynamics. Four hours of in-car instruction is scheduled for students to practice driving exercises introduced in the classroom. The goal is to introduce students to skills and sensations associated with controlling a motor vehicle during accident avoidance and defensive driving maneuvers.2012 CCC On the Skid Pad

The Clinic can teach students what typical driving schools can’t: The proper response when something unexpected happens while driving a car – and provide opportunity to practice these exercises in a safe environment.  This event will sell out for 11th straight year so do not miss out!

November Business Meeting Social – JUST ADDED – Date / Venue – TBD

November monthly business meeting will be a social event!!!
Club President Mark Hanson proposed during the August meeting we try something new in November, a social business meeting!  Idea behind a social business meeting is to get members to put forth their ideas they believe will encourage more participation by a greater cross section of our membership. Agenda will be simple:  mingle and talk freely with your fellow ARPCA members, discuss what you believe we should be doing as a club, write down your comments or ideas and submit them at the end of the evening.
A specific date and location have yet to be determined but it will be centrally located to downtown Pittsburgh. Venue will likely be a public eatery and quite likely be held on either a Thursday or Saturday night. Look for further details in Rundschau, upcoming email blasts or on our website: arpca.com.

Saturday November 26th – 5:00PM – Holiday Party – JUST ADDED
