PVGP 2018 – July 13, 14, 15 – Schenley Park Weekend – ALMOST HERE!!

Hard to imagine but 2018 PVGP festivities commence THIS SUNDAY… meaning the BIG party weekend is just 2 weeks away!  Ed Rice and his team have another blockbuster in store.  This year, in conjunction with celebrating 70 years of Porsche, he has procured 2 very special guests for the lawn:  two significant Porsche race cars with serious racing provenance.  On Saturday July 14th we’ll have the RC Cola Porsche 962 and Flying Lizard Motorsports 996 GT3 RS!  Additionally, as our Club boasts some of the finest Club drivers in the Country, and in the spirit of racing, a select group of ARPCA Club driver prepped race cars will appear with these significant pro-cars. You (and especially your car!) do not want to miss this celebration.

Register on MSR;  sign up today and mark the calendar for an annual party you will not want to miss!

All events are based around a course made of traffic cones and each lap timed for every driver. Autocross events seldom see speeds in excess of 60 mph and there is no “wheel to wheel” competition.

AX is one of, if not THE safest and most INEXPENSIVE way to participate in MotorSports today!

Tuesday July 24th – Porsche Touring Crew Lunch – 11:30AM

Come join ARPCA’s Porsche Touring Crew for a visit to North Country Brewing because yeah… beer!  Nestled in the heart of downtown Slippery Rock, the brewery has a long and fascinating history.  When owners Jodi and Bob opened the doors to North Country Brewing Company in 2005, they couldn’t have expected the support and demand for good craft beer that Slippery Rock had.

Plan on arriving the brewery 11- 11:30 am.  Select your favorite lunch fare off the menu and enjoy the company of fellow ARPCA members.  No cost for event; attendees pay for their own lunch.  Guests are always welcome. Registration closes 5.19

This is the third of several Porsche at the Lot this year.  No cost for event and registration is not necessary.  Just show up with your favorite P-car and share some coffee, breakfast and stories with fellow ARPCA members.
