PVGP 2019 Registration Closes This Friday – July 12

Plan to attend the 37th annual Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix with ARPCA.  Join hundreds of your fellow club members, guests from other regions, and friends as we gather on “Porsche Field” in Schenley Park to enjoy our cars, vintage races and the camaraderie that defines PVGP weekend.  Now is the time to register and mark this event on your calendar. The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is our club’s largest fundraiser of the year with proceeds donated through the PVGP charity to the Autism Society of Pittsburgh and the Allegheny Valley School. This year promises to be an outstanding event with new amenities geared toward making your experience more enjoyable.  The club’s PVGP Committee is planning a streamlined check-in process where attendees register through Motorsport Registration (MSR) and receive an email from PVGP_Reg@arpca.com  with their dash plaque and QR code “ticket” as attachments.  As members drive up to the Porsche corral, we will scan the QR code and have your wrist bands, raffle ticket, and PVGP program pre-staged at the Registration tent.  The club will also feature a Dining tent complete with linen tablecloths and new catering partner, Mission BBQ.  In addition, the Full Weekend Packagehas been discounted for 2019 while the balance of registration options remains unchanged from previous years. Remember, you must Pre-Register to guarantee a spot in Porsche Field.  Parking is limited to 250 cars.  With increasing attendance and large contingent from the Chicago Region this year, space is limited.

MSR Registration Open Until 11:59Pm Friday July 12!

Touring Crew – Tuesday July 23, 2019

Thanks to ARPCA and Porsche Touring Crew member Dr. Jon Tucker, the PTC has been invited for a return drive and lunch at possibly the most desirable luncheon and golf location in the Pittsburgh Region – the picturesque patio at Nevillewood Country Club.

On Tuesday, July 23, PTC’rs will convene at a set-aside parking area at the Club and enjoy good conversation, a full bar and top-rated cuisine, with a commanding view of one of the award-winning Nevillewood fairways – a unique Summer vantage point enjoyed by golfers and non-golfers, alike. Participants will arrive between 11:00 and 11:30 am. Last year’s Nevillewood gathering was a big success, as PTC’rs in coupes, convertibles and SUV’s experienced sunny skies and great service from Nevillewood’s imaginative culinary team.

The Porsche Touring Crew is an ARPCA social group, and is always open to both ARPCA members and guests. The event is no cost; however, attendees pay for their own lunch.  Guests are always welcome. For more information, contact Tom Mueller (ermtcm@verizon.net, 412-651-4232) or Wayne Desbrow (wdesbrow@zoominternet.net, 412-860-5700).

MSR Registration closes on July 20
