ARPCA Food Bank Fundraiser – Last Days To Donate!
Dear ARPCA Members,
Thank you to all who have already donated – we are making great progress! REMINDER – Due to the URGENT need, we will close our fundraiser Sunday 11:59PM. Your donations including ARPCA match will be distributed to the charities early next week. These 501(c)(3) charities will greatly appreciate your compassion and generosity!
We hope this finds you and your loved ones healthy and safe during these extraordinary times. Many in our communities are suffering either being affected by economic job loss or infected with the virus. In some extreme unfortunate cases, possibly both.
Your club therefore wants to help people in our area who may not know where their next meal is coming from. Please consider joining ARPCA’s Food Bank Fundraiser campaign. ARPCA will match donations dollar for dollar, up to $5000! ARPCA is absorbing all transaction fees associated with this effort ensuring 100% of your donations go to these worthy, 501(c)(3) charities.
Donations will be split between two area food banks serving 11 counties: Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank (GPCFB) and Gleaner’s Cranberry. If you’d like more information, click either name or their links at bottom of this post.
Did you know a gift of $100 can provide 500 meals? Think of the impact we can make on our neighbors who are struggling to feed their families today! You may donate any amount, and every dollar will help. We’ve all seen on TV the long lines of people waiting for hours to pick up food. Let’s help make sure our food banks are able to support those in need.
