Mid September 2023
Greetings and Salutations, It’s that time of year again. Pumpkin spice everything? Well, yes, but not exactly what we were thinking in this case. It’s time for a link to a Fall foliage map, that’s what time. While it might be a little early for local conditions, in approximately two weeks’ time it appears much of New England is forecast to reach its peak colors. Porsches are made to be driven and whose who’s to say a road trip isn’t in your future? One last hurrah before winterizing might be the perfect thing. Smokey Mountain: Fall Foliage Prediction Map If your travel goals are more local, the ARPCA has plenty to offer. Details and links below. Here’s to seeing you out there, Shawn Cressler – Web Support. Sharon Lunney – Newsletter Editor. |

![]() Porsche Touring Crew – Dutch’s at Silver Tree – September 26th We are excited to announce that the Touring Crew will be at Dutch’s at Silver Tree restaurant on Deep Creek Lake. Late September is such a beautiful time for a ride. The air has cooled and the trees are just beginning to show fall colors. This is not only a beautiful spot but the food is delicious too. Crab Cake sandwich or platter, maybe a caprice salad with crab or how about a burger? Dessert? Can’t miss!! I’ve been coming here for 40 years and I’ll put my personal guarantee on it. I checked MSR today and Dutch’s is already filling up! Mark and Tom |

![]() Franco’s, a hometown favorite here in McMurray, is a family owned and operated restaurant which takes pride in its Fine Italian Cuisine. Franco’s has been in the food business for over 25 years, and uniting people at the dining table for over 20. The Touring Crew will be the first patrons to have lunch here in many years and we give Joe and Gina Damico a big thank you for that. We will be arriving an hour later than usual for a 1 o’clock lunch at the convenience of the restaurant. Hope to see all our Porsche minded friends at this most special luncheon!! Mark and Tom |
