Greetings and Salutations! It seems summer is on the wane, but before you bust out the rakes, leaf blowers, and purchase something pumpkin spiced, the ARPCA calendar is still flush with plenty of reasons to get out, fire up your Porsche, and enjoy some time out and about. The second half of August includes Porsche Day at Pittsburgh Cars ‘N’ Coffee on August 22nd, followed by the PTC’s visit to Bigham Tavern on August 25th. September brings the monthly meeting at Keystone Vintage Motorsport, HPDE at Mid-Ohio, and plenty more. One of the newest additions to the calendar is the 29th Annual Richmond Porsche Meet, September 11th – 12th, and it’s a great excuse for a road trip. Hosted by the PCA First Settlers and Shenandoah Regions, the Richmond gathering offers ARPCA members a unique opportunity to meet Porsche enthusiasts from two other PCA regions while enjoying a full weekend of Porsche fun. Friday features a cocktail reception at Porsche Richmond, with Saturday bringing a concours and corral competition, autocross, pace laps, a Fun run, awards, and a Brewery & Arcade Social at Richmond Raceway. Pack the overnight bag, polish the Porsche, and make some new PCA connections! Concurrently, the ARPCA HPDE event at Mid-Ohio runs September 11th – 13th, with Friday lapping and in-car instruction throughout the weekend. It’s a chance to hone your driving skills on their challenging 2.4-mile circuit. The line-up continues with Women of ARPCA learning pasta making and enjoying their efforts on September 21st at Mineo’s, followed by the PTC’s return to a fall favorite at Dutch’s at Silver Tree on September 22nd. On the 26th of September members are offered dueling opportunities either to explore Pittsburgh’s steelmaking legacy on the Steel City Tour, visiting the Bost Building, Carrie Blast Furnaces, and historic Pump House, with a catered lunch included. Or, enjoying breakfast/brunch with a side of Porsches at the Lot in Edgewater. From morning coffee and scenic drives to racetracks, regional Porsche gatherings, Italian cooking, and Pittsburgh history, the next couple of months offer plenty of ways to enjoy time with friends and our favorite examples of fine German engineering.  Cars & Coffee – Porsche Day – August 22nd
Pittsburgh Cars ‘N’ Coffee has been bringing together exotic and performance car enthusiasts since 2010 with biweekly Saturday morning gatherings at Generoasta Coffee in Warrendale from April through October. The August 22nd gathering will feature the Porsche marque. The event is reserved for participants displaying unique vehicles. Since its founding, the organization has donated more than $100,000 to local charities, making it a valued part of Western Pennsylvania’s automotive community. Porsche Touring Crew – Bigham Tavern – August 25th Join the Porsche Touring Crew for a beautiful summer drive to Bigham Tavern at Bridgewater (Beaver), PA August 25th, 2026. Luncheon attendees will convene in the parking lot for social time, then proceed to the seating area for lunch at noon. The Porsche Touring Crew is an ARPCA social group and is open to both ARPCA members and guests. Meals are not billed in advance. Meals are ordered off the lunch menu and paid for individually.Would you like to know more? |

Drive the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course 2.4 mile circuit! Friday September 11 – Lapping Day (A / I / B-Solo eligible) Learn how to or enhance your performance driving skills on a spectacular, and challenging track! ARPCA has a long history of making everyone feel welcome and you will see plenty of “non-Porsches” at our events. In-car instruction is provided for beginner, novice, and early intermediate run groups. ***Drivers do not need a Porsche to attend!*** |
Richmond Porsche Meet – September 11th -12th
The 29th Annual Richmond Porsche Meet returns to Richmond, Virginia, September 11–12, bringing Porsche enthusiasts together for a two-day celebration of the marque. Hosted by the PCA First Settlers and Shenandoah Regions, the weekend begins Friday evening with a cocktail reception at Porsche Richmond. Saturday’s main event takes place at Richmond Raceway and features a concours and corral competition, People’s Choice voting, autocross, pace laps, a Fun Run, awards, and a Brewery & Arcade Social. |
Women of ARPCA – Pasta & More! – September 21st

 Steel City Tour – September 26th
Step back in time and explore the story of Pittsburgh’s steelmaking heritage on this unique ARPCA driving tour. Departing from The Lot at Edgewater in Oakmont at 8:30 a.m., the guided Rivers of Steel experience visits three National Historic Landmarks—the Bost Building, Carrie Blast Furnaces, and the historic Pump House—where members will learn about the people, events, and industries that made Pittsburgh the Steel Capital of the World, including the pivotal 1892 Battle of Homestead. The day also includes a catered lunch at the Pump House. |
Porsche at the Lot – September 26th
The Lot at Edgewater is a full-service restaurant that offers a wide menu selection including traditional favorites like Belgian waffles, house-cured bacon steak, made-to-order omelets as well as specialties such as avocado toast with pepper jam and a fried egg. Parking space for Porsches has been reserved along the Allegheny Avenue (Railroad Side) of the restaurant. |
