Mid September 2026

Greetings and Salutations,

Welcome to September, is it too early to break out the rakes and leaf blowers?  Keep your eyes peeled for my fall foliage intro, each year it’s a struggle not to post it earlier and earlier. This region has such an amazing variety of trees; can you blame me for being excited?  But I digress, in more timely news coming up, we have the newly added Cayenne EV Launch at the Kamin Science Center on September 23rd, where Porsche Pittsburgh is bringing together Porsche engineering and the thrill of racing. Members will get an exclusive look at the new Cayenne EV, plus electric indoor karting, professional F1 racing simulators, and a private racing-themed lounge. Space is limited, so be sure to RSVP early!

Don’t forget the Women of ARPCA – Pasta & More! on September 21st, followed by the Porsche Touring Crew’s return to Dutch’s at Silver Tree on September 22nd. Then it’s time to combine Pittsburgh history and Porsche horsepower with the Steel City Tour on September 26th, exploring the people, places, and events that helped make Pittsburgh the Steel Capital of the World. And, of course, Porsche at the Lot shares the same date for some breakfast, conversation, and plenty of shining Porsches.

October keeps the wheels turning with the ARPCA Monthly Meeting at Porsche Pittsburgh, the Columbus Day Tour & Dinner at Narcisi Winery with the Audi Club, and a new Women of ARPCA wellness event featuring Pilates Plus at Porsche Pittsburgh. The month wraps up with the Porsche Touring Crew’s scenic fall drive to the Allegheny Grille in Foxburg.

Not to be left out November, is already populating with events; the Women of ARPCA have announced their final event for 2026 and the date for the ARPCA Holiday Party has been scheduled.

No matter if your idea of a good time involves winding roads, tasty food, historic places, or simply admiring a beautiful Porsche, there’s plenty to see, do, and enjoy with your friends in the ARPCA.

Porsche Touring Crew – Dutch’s at Silver Tree – September 22nd

Dutch’s Restaurant on Deep Creek Lake MD, has become an early fall favorite for the PTC. Serving what I at least think are the best crab cakes in Maryland, Dutch’s never fails to please! From salads to burgers to filets, this place is tops! In as much as we arrive at 11:30 for our meet and greets, Lynn and I are fond of getting a room at the Silver Tree or the Lake Pointe Inn and hang out down there for an extra vacation day or two! All PTC events are open to all ARPCA Members.
