PTC Planning Late “Octoberfest”
With Rustic Microbrewery Luncheon
The Porsche Touring Crew has been called a number of things, but never “conventional.” True to form, the Crew is bucking tradition, and daring to actually celebrate Octoberfest in late October!
PTC has announced that on the morning of October 27 its disciples will mount up and head North on a fall-colored excursion to the rustic Timber Creek Tap and Table restaurant and microbrewery in Mercer County. Timber Creek is the newest in a small group of family-run restaurants that cooks-up beef from its own grain- and grass-fed cattle and wild-caught seafood, flown in from Kodiak, Alaska.
The Tap and Table’s lead chef, Jeremy Thomas, insists on the freshest possible ingredients, and prepares almost everything from scratch, including an array of appetizers and signature sandwiches. The menu features a wide variety of American favorites, including a number of salads and other healthy choices.
The Creek’s location, just a stone’s throw from the Grove City Premium Outlets, is also well-situated for plotting a variety of scenic rural driving routes. In addition, for those members who might be looking for an election night gift for a loved-one, the Outlet management office will be supplying a small gift bag that includes discount coupons for many of its 130 stores.
Porsche Touring Crew members will arrive at Timber Creek’s dedicated PTC parking area between 11:00 and 11:30 AM, and will be seated sometime before Noon.
PTC events are always free of charge, but participants must register in advance by accessing the MotorSport.reg website. Any and all ARPCA members and their guests are welcome to join in, and Tom Mueller (email@example.com) and Wayne Desbrow (firstname.lastname@example.org) are always eager to welcome new PTC members.
NOTE: The health and well-being of all ARPCA members is of utmost importance, and as such, face coverings and social distancing will be required, outside and indoors, except when PTCr’s are seated at their tables. The Timber Creek Tap and Table observes all applicable State and local safety and health requirements.
