Porsche Touring Crew September 23rd at Firewater Kitchen and Bar

The Touring crew returned to the Deep Creek area in Maryland on the 23rd for a lunch at the Firewater Kitchen and Bar. The location is excellent, situated on the shoreline with numerous outdoor seating areas and tables, as well as a lovely floating dock on the lake.  The menu offered good choices, and the food and service were top-notch. Unfortunately, due to the rain, we were unable to take advantage of the outdoor areas. However, we did dine inside at tables lining the windows, which offered lovely views of the lake.  Fortunately for the approximately 20 lunch attendees, the showers did not pose a problem on the drive to Deep Creek. Through the early fog and rain showers, we noticed some of the fall colors on the hillsides.

We hope the drive to Foxburg on October 28th will provide a fantastic, sunny day, and we will have excellent driving conditions on the roads going to and from The Allegheny Grille. We are hoping that there will still be some fall colors.

Finally, a reminder that PTC will not have lunch in November.  On December 2nd, the final lunch of the year will be at the usual time for PTC, this time at a true German-themed location, Teutonia Mannerchor, featuring a German lunch buffet.  This requires prepayment for the meal, taxes, and related fees that will be billed at the time of registration.  They also require an accurate count and prepayment the week before so that no last-minute changes can be made.
