The last ARPCA DE of the season

On September 21 and 22 we will host our last DE of the season. We will be running Mid-Ohio. The Mid-Ohio road course is one of the great auto racing facilities and is nestled in the rolling hills of Lexington, OH. This 2.4 mile technical road course is enjoyed by both new as well as experienced drivers.
On Friday, September 20 we will host a lapping day for instructors and very advanced students. The DE will run Saturday and Sunday.
Track History
The track opened as a 15-turn, 2.4 mile (3.86 km) road circuit run clockwise. The back portion of the track allows speeds approaching 180 mph (290 km/h). A separate starting line is located on the backstretch to allow for safer rolling starts. The regular start/finish line is located on the pit straight.
In 1990, the CART series began utilizing the 2.258-mile (3.634 km) layout. There is grandstand seating for 10,000 spectators, and three observation mounds alongside the track raise the capacity to over 75,000.

The ARPCA DE Weekend
Our instructor corps will help you learn this technical track. The weekend has proven to be one of our club’s most enjoyable. Fall is just around the corner. The mornings are crisp. The weather has been (mostly) cooperative. As usual, the company has been spectacular!
