PVGP – Countryside Tour

Thursday, July 21st, 2022 – From PVGP.org “If driving your classic sports car is your main passion, we invite you to join us for the Countryside Tour.  Hosted by the Greater Pittsburgh MG Club, with help from the Western PA Triumph Association. The Countryside Tour was conceived in 2012 by Bud Osbourne as a part of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. Participation is limited to sports & GT cars produced in 1983 and earlier*).

The tour departs from the Ramada Inn, in the lovely and historic town of Ligonier, and follows a delightful collection of scenic, twisting, lightly-traveled back roads through Pennsylvania’s beautiful Laurel Highlands. Be advised, this is a DRIVING tour and not for the faint of heart. We cover a lot of miles and it’s all back roads at a brisk pace! Registration is now open and limited to the first 50 cars, so don’t wait too long to sign-up!”

Blacktie & Tailpipes Gala

Friday, July 15th, 2022 – From PVGP.org “Our Blacktie & Tailpipes Gala opens Grand Prix Race Week in formal style! This is a must for any auto enthusiast who enjoys shiny cars, fine dining and great company. In addition to being one of the city’s best summer parties, it is also a significant fundraiser for our charity partners.

Our 2021 Gala at Valley Brook Country Club in Canonsburg was fabulous in every way. Bobby Rahal Auto Group was the title sponsor and Bobby himself attended and auctioned a special Indy 500 trip for our charities. Rahal is back as our sponsor again this year and we’re thrilled!”
